Stud bolt caps

BoltShield® caps are screw-on metal caps designed to protect nuts and bolts from thread damage and dirt, and to considerably help prevent rust and corrosion. A BoltShield® metal protection cap is made from stainless steel and has a special internal female thread, called a screw-on system. This ensures a strong and secure fixing to the bolt by matching the bolt thread. BoltShield® is designed to be installed manually. No extra tools are required, and it can easily installed be and removed when needed, for instance over a stud bolt B8M. HBS Solutions is the only supplier of Boltshield® caps in the Benelux.

A Boltshield has many different advantages and possibilities

We offer two types of BoltShield® caps which offer different levels of protection. The first type covers both the exposed part of the bolt thread and the nut, while the second type only protects the bolt thread. Every cap is available in aluminum, stainless steel or carbon steel. They are all suitable for coating and can be supplied in bolt sizes ranging from ½” to 6”, M16 to M100 (UN/metric thread).
